  A little backyard birding.

  D800 | 300mm | f/5 | 1/320 | ISO 1000

There is a little funky bokeh, but that's mostly due to the porch screen in the background.

Tremendous work everyone. Every photo is so crisp and clean it's like being there.

  D800, Sigma 35mm/1.4 @ f1/8. Under exposed with ISO 100; 1/60sec...corrected in post.

  ...and later in the day....
Curiosity got to me and I went into fashion police mode and Googled "Black Dress and Blue Shoes"....among the hits were pictures of Kelly Osbourne, Beyonce, and a multitude of models wearing black skirts or dresses with blue heels. It's more "IN" than we think... ... can't believe I even did that....ha ha

  D800 + 16-35mm F4G VR at 35mm.

If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.

Don't know if anybody remembers this building. It was used in Robocop as the OCP headquarters.

The crew at Lake of the Clouds Hut hiding a rowing paddle in a hard-to-reach spot - there is a competition between the huts all summer, where there are items at each hut that the crews have to try to steal from each other. They have to hike out of their hut and to the other hut and pilfer the item unseen. They can't hide the items, but they can make them hard to get I suppose. Pretty happy I could get enough light into my camera to see anything... to my eyes the room was nearly dark and only lit by a couple headlamps flitting about.

Shot this past weekend at a dam near my home. I was amazed that with all that moving water and a longer exposure that the boat was in focus at all.
