A couple wanted their engagement photos taken at an animal farm. I felt bad for this guy and his friend. Stuck in a small pen with not much room to hop. This was taken through a window so there's a bit of softness to it.

Managed to launch out of bed early enough on Sunday morning to see the rising sun illuminating the New York State shoreline of Lake Champlain. Seen from the Vermont side.

A Golden Orb Spider Nephila Clavata. Mildly poisonous and luckily reluctant to bite usually. This one was preparing a wasp for a meal:

Thinking about getting this is a very large print. I like the bridge in this setting.

@ PitchBlack - extra delicious lighting on the last two images. Compelling eyes.

@ Hipshot - nice work on the last couple as well. Nice color and mood.

Yes, it was a beautiful morning that day in SoCal -

I was recently requested to be the designated photographer for a community outreach that my hospital did in conjunction with another. It was aimed at Kid's Safety and we had lots of law enforcement booths. Here's one quick capture.

Had to crop this one a bit more than I originally intended so I could put it up on facbook. Not a huge fan of censorship to put it mildly, but after a nights sleep I think it didn't turn out too bad.
