Everything is ready for the new bathing season. Except the weather. Few days to June and 5°C (41° F). Reviewing "ice age"1-4 just to get accustomed to it.
I like what you did. I think the info in the city is more what you eye saw. Not that that should be the key, but I think what is lurking in the shadows makes this a more interesting shot. Others will have their opinions.
Hope this is OK. It wasn't shot with a Nikon, but I saw on another thread that you guys welcomed non-Nikon stuff in PAD. I'm hoping to get a Nikon, if that counts!
This is my son, Jack. The photo was taken in the local park, where there is a lovely bamboo grove (we live in China, so lots of bamboo!)
Olympus E-410 with 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5, 84mm, f/4.0, 1/160sec, ISO200
Comments....as I understand it, the photos here do not require that they be taken with a Nikon camera. But, some of us think Nikon is best for our individual use in most cases.
Great shots from US folks for Memorial Day. Thanks.
Adam...I still love this shot of the action...just very well done.
And, there are way to many shots to give my praises to, so thanks to all.
I'm sure we all played this little trick, one I learned on a cruise too long ago, but thinking I could get some "micro drops" in the photo, I had my niece play the tune, but all I got was some vibration. Maybe with better equip or lighting?
Continue to be impressed by all...Thanks for sharing.
Today we have a sunflower, the result of 18 stacked photos plus a little processing. (It's only a little cropped from the original d800 image, so the details (including some stacking flaws) are remarkable)
D800, 105mm macro, 18 images (Helicon Focus) at f/10 and an Orbis Flash.

Here's a landscape I did in Taiwan.
Nikon D40x, 18-135mm @135mm wide open at 5.6 ISO 200
I used to think landscapes are all about wide angle lenses. I like all those layers!
