    Cons:
When fully extended, five-section legs are less stable than legs with three or four sections

While i agree that 5 leg sections may be less sturdy, this tripod has 4 leg sections

If i expand my kit, why would i need to look for another tripod?
as mentioned, the D800 and the new 80 -400 seems to work fine on it.

In terms of pano head\gimbal head, i do not see myself buying one or needing one any time soon however, if the tripod can handle the d800 + 80-400, surly its capable of handling gimbal\pano head? on the induo site, it has gimbal heads as suggested heads

My current experience suggest the clamp style locks on the Benro are much more difficult to loosen and tighten, do not allow the legs to be adjusted as easily, and can be accidentally released by catching ones shoe on the clamp.

So, the only suggestion I am making is to purchase a heavy duty tripod with screw style leg locks and not the clamps.
The leg clamps on my Slik are not as good as they could be as they are big stiff clamps. I would prefer screw type locks, but it seems you can't have everything (especially when I only paid £80 for my tripod).
    Always learning.
