Here is a picture of my favorite sport, ultimate frisbee from this year's college national championship. I have not done much action photography, but I got lucky on this shot. In the flickr gallery there is a shot of the split second before and after this shot as well. One site named this catch the best play of the college championships.

First day of spring in the Smokies. Broke out of the trees into this little clearing, the sky showed a bit of blue, and the light on the hillside in the background stopped me dead in my tracks. I hope I was able to do the scene some justice.
