Nine days away and 211 new PAD images to peruse. It's like Christmas. Looking forward to enjoying these. Here's a sunrise over Lake Tahoe.

@aodwoz Wonderful! And I am so jealous. We have the Enterprise here in NYC, but it just sits there under a a tent. Yours flies yet again. And if you don't look to the lower left, you can imagine watching her as she performs some function up there.

    @michael66
    thanks. :D
that sounds very boring and cheap. I am sorry to hear that. :/
unlike Intrepid Museum, In KSC visitor complex, it got a 4 floors high building for Altanis(maybe higher than that), Once you go in there, you more likely is gonna experience the presentation, which is not as good as 3D's I have seen at Sea World, but still the entire room was filled with images, Atlantis close-up, and SSM(Shuttle Simulation Module), and etc.

My advice - you need to visit Orlando, FL, not too far away from NYC anyway. :D

In the Middle Ages the Thames would freeze over in the winter and markets would be held on it. Perhaps this is what the water might have looked like at dusk (minus all the modern buildings and HMS Belfast, of course).

Baby Osprey landing after first flight.. This almost a 100% crop (1500x1300), slightly soft but considering I'm using my newly acquired promaster 1.7x TC ($35 on ebay) I think it is pretty good :)

@PitchBlack I enjoy the shot anyways, though that is certainly biased by being a social dancer and enjoying twirly skirts. ;)

You ever chimp a photo and think "OMG! That's it! That's the shot!!" You're feeling all smug and then you get home and you're like "Oh f***... where the hell is the focus on this photo?!?!?" Yeah, it's like that. Thought I'd share my frustration with you all.
    D800 | 200-400/f4 @ f4 | 320mm | ISO 100 — focus is on the back flap of her dress.
    ...
I need more of those kind of frustrations in my lib... :D
Honestly in that size no one could tell the back flap's sharper than the face... You're too critical. Or masochist?
Alright then, please spare such rubbish in the future! Back to work! >:)

It was shot by my girlfriend, Lupe Jelena, who is an Argentine fashion photographer. I look like an amateur compared to her.
I have been following Lupe on Facebook for a few weeks now, and would recommend you all do the same. Her work is really something to behold, although Mark I would urge you not to sell yourself short.

No picture from me, power outage, cannot post from IPhone. Sunday we are leaving for a 3
weeks European driving trip, so it will be hard to post.

The pic is great and I agree with Lupe talent but I like your style too.

I have a question about the pic of the above quote, did you add noise in PP? Or is is a 100% crop?

I have seen noise at ISO 100 but this particular shot seems to be quite noisier than expected so I wonder if is part of a style.
