It's 2013 in Asia, so it's probably time to start a new PAD thread. Happy New Year, everyone! May all your photo ops be magical and all your gear dreams come true.
One thing to be careful of with the new forum is that if you post a photo that's wider than 640px it will resize it in only that dimension, which will make your photo appear stretched. I'll have to check, but I think this only happens if the height is 640px or less. Anyway, golf007sd posted a good instructional video in the "how to post on the PAD" thread which shows how to do it using Flickr.
Also, please post only one photo per 24 hour period.

CC is welcome. DC is also welcome when I deserve it.
I was going to squeeze one more holiday picture into the December thread... D600 | 24-70mm f/2.8 @ 70mm & f/2.8 | 1/8s | ISO 50 | Manual focus, not quite right
Time for bed over here but since the new PAD is up I'll just go ahead with my first share of the year. It's one of my regular subjects, I'm sure some of you must recognize her by now. She's getting better at talking all the time, so when she thinks I'm starting to abuse my privileges as her father she says "No photo more", but in Swedish. Luckily she's also starting to accept bribes to let me keep shooting.
Quite happy with this one. Been experimenting a lot with the post processing lately since that's one of the areas I consider myself weakest.
Nice, W_N (I'll probably always think of you as Regulator).
Swedish, Rifqi? For some reason I had you living in Singapore or something like that. I'd like to hear your story sometime.
It looks like the year is off to a good start. One of the best parts of the new forum is all of the new members that joined. Welcome, everyone! We'd love to see your stuff on the PAD.

jonny, that might be because the first few shots I shared here were from our trip to Indonesia just over a year ago. Some of those shots were from Changi airport in Singapore. My wife is from Indonesia, so that might also have thrown you off. We live in Sweden now though and the little one speaks three languages, so it's kind of tricky to keep up with her sometime.
Semperoper (Opera House) in Dresden, Germany. This shot also was done with my new PC-E lens. As you can see, I overdid the shifting a bit. I need to practice more, maybe at daytime first. Other than that, this lens is exceptionally sharp, I am really happy with it.
Been hot here, and the best entertainment for my two boys (apart from swimming in the creek) has been the purchase of a roll of black plastic. Throw in a grassy hill, water from a hose and some shampoo and you've got a bruised head, twisted knee and concussion. Thats only on me of course, the boys just have smiles.

This is the famous 'Pont de Millau' in Southern France - I just love the form and grace of this structure.
