planning to purchase a Lee filter for my bloody 14-24 f2.8, so should I add 150x170 0.9 ND filter also? Btw, since they dont have BIG STOPPER available for SW-150 system, I wonder if I need to add more filters to the front of lens in order to shoot long exposure on street photography....sounds horrifying.
One of my favourite dogs on the Trail this year - Lucy, named by Firehands for the place they found her, Lucy Falls. She was a stray, and followed Firehands and Peaches for 18 miles before they decided to formally adopt her near Elk Park, NC. She's been with Firehands since then, and can tackle even the White Mountains without effort. One of the sweetest dogs you can imagine... one great memory from Virginia was where about a dozen hikers were camped out with a trail angel, and several of us cowboy camped (slept under the stars). Lucy woke every one of us early in the morning, licking everyone in the face to say good morning. I was excited to run across Lucy (and Firehands and Peaches too, I guess) again in Vermont.
There are bigger ones but this Danish (south side of the Thyboron ferry on the west coast) monster (actually manufactured by the Chinese Envision Energy) 140 meters tall, 3.6MW proof-of-concept surely dwarfs everything else I have seen. Each 62-metre E128 blade consists of a 20-metre inner section with a fixed blade angle called an extender and a pitchable 42-metre outer blade. When it spins it does a swhishing noise that can be eared from quite afar. If you zoom-in, you will see a full-size sail boat near it's base. Some others have propellers almost as long (77 meters) as the Airbus 380 is wide (79.8 meters). If you care for the full-res, there is a ladder (thanks to the D800 incredible resolution) at the top to access the antennas that gives yet another idea of the monstrous size.
Genre: the facebook profile picture. Therefore it has to work when viewed in a very small size like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/76080384@N03/9583899456/sizes/t/ Usually NR posts say "best viewed in larger size" well this is "best viewed in smaller size" due to its purpose.
