...AND ...I posted accidentally in the July thread as well ...
Here's mine, a Chestnut-bellied Nuthatch from the lower Himalayas...only 5 inches long, it was difficult to catch as it constantly darted through the shadows ...
Heya folks. I will try to continue making odd appearances here, as I am now into the White Mountains of New Hampshire and moving farther from outposts of civilization. Today I am taking a day off, processing and uploading photos courtesy of McDonalds wifi. Here is one from just into Maryland, crossing over from Harpers Ferry during a short section of the AT which is coincident with a rail trail there.
Also, I wonder if anybody would be interested in posting photos here on my behalf, when I am back away from civilization for much of the final 400ish miles from here to Katahdin, and if that would be acceptable. If anybody could PM me and get this arranged, I would love the opportunity to share my photos more than I am currently capable of doing.

Finally got home from deployment the other day, so happy to be back with my daughter. I left when she was only six weeks old, so she's gotten a lot bigger (and more active) since I left.
Planning on going out and doing a shoot with her this weekend, missed my camera almost just as much! lol
D3000 w/ Canon FD 50mm lens. Yeah, my old FD Canon lens on a Nikon body. I used one of those $15 adapter rings without the glass. I had to shoot a few frames to get decent lighting. f/??, 1/125 @ ISO-1600. I plan to play around with this lens and the Canon 135mm over the weekend and will post if there is any interest.
@NSXTypeR Hey! Yeah, I shot something similar of my Nikkormat, only the aperture dial was right side up. +1 to ya. My daughter went off to law school today, so I went with her Pikachu so as to not steal your thunder!
