D600, Tokina 100mm macro, f8, 1/250sec., natural light, exp.comp. -0.7 to get red flower right, yellow flower dodged in Elements 11 to bring it back up to correct exposure.

That light only lasted about 10 minutes, so most of the morning I was shooting just a misty lake. The below shot was one of the first ones I did, on my way to the final location.
Long time no see, again. One of the reasons I haven't been around is that we had a fire in our building, so we haven't been able to live in our flat for a bit over a month. That part kind of sucked. The good part of it was that I took a week off from work to go and stay at my mom's new place, where I tried my hand at some landscape photography for the first time.
I'll start off with some shots from the lake in the early morning (why do mornings have to happen so early anyway?). And yes, there will be some portraits from this location as well.
