I have tried shadow lifting on the awesone sensor of D800 with no joy. I finally bought into a filter system after so long resisting it. This is my first proper outing after some tests in poor weather.
Wish I could find more time for post processing so I could post a little more frequently. Ah well, such is life. Finally decided to play around with Silver Efex Pro 2, here's my first attempt
I'm in a bit of an editing crisis so opinions/suggestions would be great to hear. Too much editing? Not enough? Good balance of contrast?
I like if photos are kept close to the original shot. I think it is a good capture. If at all I would have taken out the highlights in the middle of the picture (blouse, skin) and maybe warm up the tone of the skin on the light side. Just a thought.
Couldn't sleep this morning ahead of my flight back from Seoul to the UK, so went for a stroll just before sunrise around Gangnam, grabbing my camera and tripod:
