Itsnotmeyouknow, I love that. Just superb. Got a little break in the weather last night. Walking the dog with my wife at about 9:30 I saw how great the stars were and announced that I'd be heading out of the city (about 45 minutes away) to shoot. My wife thought I was nuts. Worth the effort I think. D800 | 17-35 | 17mm | f/2.8 | 25s | ISO 3200
I'm simply amazed at the lack of apparent noise at this ISO.
Love the portraiture here. Here's a departure from nature / hiker stuff and back to dance stuff - I photographed / attended a dance week in Massachusetts shortly after summiting Katahdin. Wound up being kind of a downer for me... it was really strange staying in one place for a whole week. Most people were coming here as a retreat from the hectic world outside, while I was coming from the wilderness into what was practically civilization for me. Anyways, terribly low light as usual for these events - worse than usual, even.
Playing with high ISO (iso 8063 HI.03). The light on the right is coming from neighbor's porch. I ran it through Nik sofware Dfine and bumped the saturation/clarity in Viveza.
many nice pixes on pad.....my share for the day...similar to last post but different angle...sunset was developing to to the right of the frame...which reflects in the varying shades of colour of water in the lagoon.. D800, 14-24mm f/2.8 @ 14mm, 1/400s, f/10, ISO 100
Looks like attendance was a bit on the slim side.... the car is very interesting... a Studebaker...from the 50's?
I think it's supposed to be a 57 Chevy but it's so radical it's hard to make out. The crowd was on the side behind me. The big show at Tulsa is in a week and the attendance will be over 40,000 with both sides filled to the max. Come shoot it with me, it'll be nothing but NHRA/ADRL Pro Stocks and Funny Bikes!
Took my nikon 1 v1 for a stroll.. still trying to figure out how to do some stuff.... but so light ! so small no one seems to notice it .. Watch out world! I now have a capable kit with me everywhere!
So cute .. she took his hand as they crossed .. I think he was pleased.. :-)
