Drove up to the Lake District yesterday and by the weather (and by the forecast for the next few days) the lakes aren't going to dry up.

@Benji2505 -How was your trip to Seaworld? I recognize this guy from the Clyde and Semore show.

It was great. We walked into the stadium and he made fun of us and then signaled me to take a pic of him. So I moved him out of the shadow into the light and took a pic. SeaWorld is a great experience ever again. The Killer whale show is off for another 3-4 months because they are rebuilding the stadium. Low Light photography shines in the aquariums and the shark show where you can drive underneath the water basin.

I went hunting for snowy owls this morning. I had to use a Canon 5DII because the longest Nikon lens I have is 200mm and I have access to the Canon 100-400mm at work. Using the Canon body was like trying to learn a new language. I just couldn't get it to do what I wanted, but hey, at least I saw an owl. I think it's time to I splurge and get the new Nikon 80-400 while it's on sale.

Took the D700 and 24-120 f4 out for a spin today. My wife was driving and I shot this through the windshield. Pretty dramatic clouds.
