As the tour guides were moving you through this viewing area, they would say "don't bother taking pictures of this yourself, you can get much better images in our gift shop taken by professionals." Or words to that effect. They were probably right; I'm sure there were fine images available for sale there. But I ignored their warnings and snapped away and got a few decent frames out of it. The results were pleasantly surprising. A good learning experience for me.

I wonder whether the tour guide could explain the difference and what he/she considers superior in the pictures for sale in the gift shop.
