Another from Turks & Caicos. I was here about 3 years ago and was intrigued by this structure. Spent a lot of time between then and now thinking about this shot. With the purchase of a 10-stop filter and Silver Efex it really came together in my mind. It came off pretty much the way I'd intended.

Old fishing boat hauled up on the shingle dunes.

The low noise performance of my D7100 still impresses me. This shot was taken by the light of a crescent moon 2 hrs after sunset but the red sun was still faintly tickling the high clouds with its pink light. It was too dark to focus manually without a torch:

Still in Tokyo. The air was dazzlingly clear and while I had a view facing Tokyo Bay and tower, a colleague of mine had a view of Mount Fuji from her room so gatecrashed it with my Nikon D800E and Nikkor 70 - 200 f/4
