Far From Any Road Some songs just sticks. This is one from TV series True Detective.
Photo have not much to do with song, but it is on repeat in my head :-) Although I do see that the music did affect the post work quite a bit :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4zluA60hjs

Another from Turks & Caicos. I was here about 3 years ago and was intrigued by this structure. Spent a lot of time between then and now thinking about this shot. With the purchase of a 10-stop filter and Silver Efex it really came together in my mind. It came off pretty much the way I'd intended. D800 | 24-70 | 24mm | f/7.1 | 25s | ISO 100
I didn't take a tripod with me yesterday and regretted it. This is handheld at 1/15 at 48mm, f/4 ISO 1600, Nikon D800E Nikkor 24 - 70 - Tokyo at twilight
Another shot from yesterday's outing. I like how these two bridges intersect..........
Nikon D7100; AF-S DX 35mm f1.8; AF-S DX Macro 40mm f2.8; AF-S DX 18-200mm VRII; SB-700 Speed Light and a bunch of other not very noteworthy stuff......
The low noise performance of my D7100 still impresses me. This shot was taken by the light of a crescent moon 2 hrs after sunset but the red sun was still faintly tickling the high clouds with its pink light. It was too dark to focus manually without a torch:
D7100, 17-55 @ f2.8, ISO 6400, S/S 30s, W/B 3000k.
Still in Tokyo. The air was dazzlingly clear and while I had a view facing Tokyo Bay and tower, a colleague of mine had a view of Mount Fuji from her room so gatecrashed it with my Nikon D800E and Nikkor 70 - 200 f/4
