March 4th - I started a road trip down to Springer Mountain, Georgia with three other hikers on this day. For two of them, the 5th would be their one year anniversary of starting their thru-hike. We took a break in Blacksburg, VA to visit another of our number. From left to right we have Lucy (the dog), Firehands, Sassypants, Crazy Frogg, and myself. I had neither a wider lens handy, nor anywhere further back to place the camera, but I would also like to point out Crazy Frogg's wicked purple couch.
