I am putting this one in a little early because I will be out of pocket in Phoenix all day tomorrow. Taken right after sunrise in our Koi pond. Hasselblad 500CM, 150mm f/4 C T* Sonnar and Kodak Ektar 100 film. Negative scanned with a Nikon Super CoolScan LS-8000. This Lotus flower is only visible for about 2 or 3 days before it disappears until the next year. You have to check the pond daily in the spring!
Renting a Nikon D810 & Tamron 24-70 for a couple weeks just to make sure this is the camera I want to get...and lets just say, I don't know why I even doubted it XD. This is a shot from my first night out with them, just getting used to the controls. D810 | 50mm | F1.8 | ISO 1600 | 1/125 Sec
Playing around with Topaz Glow I was hoping I'd pull myself together and clear out some of the stuff from my office at home for room for my new computer as my ancient machine doesn't cut it for video production and it certainly doesn't work well with Topaz Glow. So if you have a very, very old machine don't get this plug-in just yet. (Do think there is a trial version of it so at least try that first if the plug-in is of any interest)

When I first tried using the lighting in this shot I had him sitting with his back to the wall and it just wasn't working. When I pulled him away a bit the shadow added some depth and seemed to work much better.
I shot this on my way home from Phoenix today with the D700 and my 50mm f/1.4 AI'd. A scene like this really begged for a 4x5, 150mm f/5.6 Nikkor W and T-Max 100 rather than digital but you have to work with what you have at the time.
This morning, combating snow, high winds, and hundreds of people, I captured Santa Claus arriving in Nuuk, Greenland. Nothing special photographically, except to say my D810 performed outstandingly, easily dealing with the harsh conditions.
A gorgeous woman with a Rolleiflex, what is not to love? I have a 1953 Rolleiflex 2.8E with a Schneider Kreuznach 80mm f/2.8 and I still use it. My favorite image with it was taken at Crater Lake in OR, http://smg.photobucket.com/user/stm58/media/craterlake-1.jpg.html with Panatomic-X in1987
