@Pitchblack - The Crater Lake image is beautiful...impressive IQ for 1953. Thanks for sharing. I bet Lupe stops a lot of people...as you said, "a gorgeous woman with a Rolleiflex".

She is a head turner for sure. The kind of woman who stands out in a crowd, no doubt about it and I will be no one thinks to even ask her what lens she is using.
Turkey Buzzard or "Vulture" if you don't live in the deep South ;-) . They are kind of nasty birds but even in that nastiness there is some beauty. They are actually a protected species in Florida if you can believe it! D700 and 300mm f/2.8 ED-IF AIS
Lupe thanks you all for the nice words about her photo and wants you to know that she can load and unload the film in that Rollei with her eyes closed. It's not just for show
The Rolleiflex 2.8 has some very nice optics, from different sources depending on the model and vintage and when you combine that with 6x6 format you can get some gorgeous images. I posted a link several responses ago of an image of Crater Lake in OR that I took with my circa 1953 one. It has the Schneider Kreuznach 80mm f/2.8 on it and the images it takes are fantastic.
The tide was coming up fast while taking this shot. By the time the shutter clicked I was in waste high salt water....four second is long time in the ocean. My RRS tripod did an outstanding job while the surf went in & out.

I keep reading good things about the RRS gear. Assuming you like yours? I'm currently using a Mefoto travel tripod, but thinking I want something more sturdy on occasion.
