    I was under the impression that using the negative feedback was not to be used... Lately when I've posted something I seem to get that more often than not. Is there one person I've offended or is really most of the work I post bad? (Not fishing for compliments, I just don't understand)
    Think it is so much easier to take negative and/or constructive feedback into consideration when one can see who one is talking with.

    I suspect its one of the participants of the debate a few months back that think some images here amount to soft porn. Ludicrous and hiding behind the minuses is a coward's way out. The point that is missed that an image can be provocative when a model is fully clothed. The state of dress isn't what makes an image 'pornographic' and it's time that whoever it is grew up and accepted the views on here. I think the images posted here are always tasteful and well shot. Yourself, Pitch-black and others post great images tasteful done.

    I am Danish, and as such "tough skinned" when it comes to nudity and softporn. We are pretty much raised with naked ladies in our newspapers, and no one would object to a bellybutton or a nipple. I am saying this because I am sure other people from other cultures do not take so kindly to the naked body...

    Looking back at the last 12 months of PADs, I have still to see anything that offends me, and IMO a picture of violence, brutality or misery often offends me much much more than nudity. Come on, it's nothing we haven't seen before. So to the person(s) who may click minus because of lingerie on beautiful people, GROW UP, or stop looking.

    @Gjesdal: The only thing I don't like about that image is that the light is a little too hot on her right arm.

    Another from the archives. This is before I started driving, and as I arrived in London's Paddington station.

    Some don't know the difference between art and voyeurism. there is a huge difference. Nudity isn't of itself pornographic.

    If anyone gets a -1 rating don't let it bother you. There are all sorts of different tastes and who is to say the person who thought -1 is correct? The -1 person may just be making a fool of themselves or demonstrating their own ignorance or their own lack of sophistication. I see many images on PAD I don't like which other people do like. I am sure that is true the other way around for all of us. A -1 is just an opinion and it is absolutely wrong to assume that opinion is valid.

    I don't see anything wrong with negative feedback. To me its part of life and a lot of times they can be learning situations. It's like playing a sports game and then saying there can be no winner-no good or bad. Ones self worth comes from within, not what others say. There is nothing wrong with saying you don't like something, we do it all the time. We are all individuals and as such we all have a voice. Who would want to take that away?

    Gjsedal.. I found nothing wrong with your post, but I'm only one and there are thousands who use the site. Just push on...

    I dont think Luckie said anything that was "Trollish". He probably misunderstands the reason for this thread..
    But as you say Critique is for the critique thread not for this PAD thread and I am sure he and lots of others (out of the thousands of viewers) misunderstand it and only need a gentle reminder from time to time. Maybe we need a PAD FAQ where we can point to. Like a PADiquette ?

    @One_Oh_Four

    Nice capture... are you using the original 80-400 or the ;latest with VRII?
    Thanks, Msmoto! It's the latest with VR II. Didn't use the VR, though because of the shutter-speed. I'm actually very interested how the new 300mm PF f/4 with 1.4X converter would compare with this lens regarding sharpness and AF. Let's hope someone will test that!
