Brindled dog in Villa de Leyva, Colombia. Not sure if it was a street dog or if it actually belonged to that house. D750 | Sigma 24-105mm f/4 | 95mm | f/4 | 1/640 sec | ISO 100
Unfortunately the windshield of my Jeep developed a rather large crack upon returning from our trip, so the money is now going towards that and I ended up returning the lens. I really did like the lens a lot. Sometimes I wished it could to go f/2.8, but most of the time at f/4 it worked very nicely. Only on some indoor shots did I wish for f/2.8.
A local camera shop is having a rent one get one free deal all month for lenses, so I plan on abusing it as much as I can hehe I have the 24mm PCI-E and 105mm Macro till Tuesday. The full panorama can be seen here: https://flic.kr/p/qVffPv
I haven't been out to shoot much lately so here is an oldie. This is sunrise on the Winter Solstice back in 2008. The mountain, Mt. Deborah, 12,339', is about 80 miles south of Fairbanks, where I shot the photo. This was one of the first photos on my D700 and I used the 80-200 f/4.0 AIS at 200mm, f/22, ISO 200 and 1/8000 sec.
@PitchBlack: Thanks for that. Very good to see the image before too as it shows it was a beautiful shot before you started with PS. Lovely soft lighting.
