Jimo, that's a great shot, I'm not sure why and how the site stretched the dragonfly into such a weird aspect ratio.
Not sure if I had posted it already, but here it is. Some more photos from when I went to the Cloisters.
Supposedly it was supposed to be 4x the size of the current courtyard. Rockefeller decided to build a monastery out of pieces of bombed out monasteries after the end of WWII.
Although, it wasn't me who gave you the minus sign I can tell you why you might got it. Basically, the picture is not good. there's no main topic on it. It's way to dark and overall extremely flat. I'm not quite sure what you wanted to show on this picture. The location is definitely terrific, been there many years ago and still see the see and water in my head. As for the picture, try to crop the image a little bit: 16:9 maybe - everything to get rid of the grass that takes 50% of the image. Play a little bit with shadows to get rid of the dark rocks - add some structure. If you want some more advice please send me a higher res picture and I'll show you what you can do with it.

Thanks Adam. I know the location very well. It's one of my most frequently visited. It's already cropped to 16:9. Could do with the cliffs being about 20 feet lower, so that the worm's head wasn't on the horizon! Getting into a position where you don't have a lot of grass in front of the island is awkward as it is often windy and that cliff is over 150 ft.
As for lighting, the original file is a good 20% lighter than what flicker shows, and I prefer to show twilight as it is - it's getting dark, so to have everything well lit for me is unnatural. I take the point on the weak subject. Should have shot with the 24 - 70 so that I could have cropped more in, losing some of the grass without sacrificing IQ.
This weekends cameras. All of the equipment used cost less than one of my D810's and produce great images. In total I took 6 4 X 5 photo's and one roll of BW and one roll of E6 645 photo's, total of 34 pictures.
@proudgeek. Great image., worthy of a +2 as well. The dark clouds and the peaceful calm of the lake and the warm colors of the sun all play well together for a strong image.
The white specks on the light-colored jagged rocks toward the upper right are a small group of Dall Sheep. This scene is above the Toklat River in Denali National Park. You may want to click through for a closer look.
