Was at an event last night and intended to drive the full 300 miles to the Lake District, due to arrive at 330am. Got a third of the way through, and felt tired, so got in the back of the car and had a few hours sleep. Am glad that I did, as not only did that mean that I didn't crash, but also meant that I arrived at the edge of the Lake District just before sunrise. Noticing the colour in the sky, I pulled in to a lay-by and got my cameras out.
