It's good to be back, been really busy.I bought a house, moved and got married. This is a picture of my wife Diana on our honeymoon in Panama City Beach Florida.
Sussex's Seven Sisters from Seaford Head - these cliffs often stand in for the White Cliffs of Dover in WW2 movies, as due to moss being planted in the Dover cliffs to slow down erosion, they look green...
We never shoot for any length of time when I shoot with Vibeke, but still we end up with quite a lot of photos that I'm satisfied with and she seem happy with them. Here I was testing a small reflector (18cm) with a grid, that I bought months ago, but never tried it before. So now I can look my wife in the eye and say "yes" if she ever asks "do you even use all that gear"

Looks like at the end of a long summer. I was last in this area in late July, and I'm not lying when I say that it was warmer and calmer today than it was then. It was 18 degrees C (66F) today whereas on 28th July it was blowing a gale and 14 C (55F)...Fog has ruled out both sunrise and sunset - this location would be perfect at this time of the year as the sun rises almost opposite and the cliffs would be sidelit.
I got up this morning to find out that Flicker had explored this picture of Diana.Thats the first time I have had one explored. D610 | 75mm | F/4 |1/500 | ISO 100
