Capt, thanks. I wish I could claim more forethought. My wife grows the orchids, and our house has some interesting light. I only know a few "rules" - rule-a-thirds, fore-to-background lines, and I play with my images in post a little more than some would think proper. And I fervently believe that no matter what you know, your best images come from an affinity for the subject.
