New Delhi (Detail from the same car as yesterday) D5100, Sigma 30 mm @ f/1.8, 1/4000 sec, ISO 800
@Msmoto: Good and reasonable question. Just the type of things I enjoy learning in this thread. So: My thought was to have the front sharp and the remainder to fade out. I was more fascinated by that car's "face" (if you know what I mean) than by the thing as a whole. Nevertheless: Going to higher f-stop would have increased the sharpness which (especially with this lens) is really a good idea. Similar approach for today's picture of that car - guess f/4 & ISO 100 would have worked just fine. Looking at all those images here I'm really thinking about getting myself a true telephoto lens at some point: There, the backgrounds fade out really nicely at 200 mm or so, like in Juergen's and Squamish's posts for the day.

I am curious as to why you shot at 1/1600 sec rather than at 1/125 sec and stop the lens down to f5.6?
