In London at the moment and working with a good friend of mine. Her four year old daughter is a real character who is very very intelligent who was talking before she was 12months old. She has full on conversations about all sorts of things. She has cystic fibrosis and epilepsy and her liver isn't functioning as it should. At four years old she understands what medicines she has to take and why she has to take them. She explained to me today that she has to take enzymes she says as her pancreas "don't get rid of fat properly and otherwise (in her words)I would be very sick." Her mother is a feisty intelligent Aussie from Melbourne that I have known for twelve years and her father is a rocket scientist.

this is another from my walk two weeks ago that suffered from some light-leak across the middle, so it needed quite a bit of playing with. you can see it across the legs of the cranes slightly .. oh well
was a guest at a wedding, when the official photographer decided that the venue was not suitable for photograph "the dark ceiling was soaking up my flash" was his comment and he decided to leave, so i picked up my camera and took over as the bride and groom are good friends i have never shot portraits or a wedding i much prefer action/ sports, i feel i have done a fair job
Good on ya, Mick. Looks like you got some good shots for your friends. "soaking up my flash" indeed! I'm no pro, but even I can recognize that as lame! Hope your friends got some refund.
From the Naper Settlement Civil War Days. Got a few shots that I like.

Good job Mick! Can't believe that actually happened. Apparently he didn't do his homework.
Went to a local car show today. It's titled "The Unfinished Nationals" and draws all types of Rat Rods in various state of completion. I tone mapped this photo in Nik HDR and looking at it now I may have overcooked it but who knows how it looks on other monitors.
' like the reflections and symmetries in your real estate shot, Tommie Kris, I did not know there was a market for bird portraits-nice Mikep, I like the contrast between old world/ new world in your picture.

Venice is great if you get off the tourist track, nice and quiet with a rustic feel to it.
