Squamishphoto: I like the wildflower background on this one; very french impressionist. How about trying from a higher angle (like you up on a ladder or subject on her knees or sitting on a stool) to eliminate the tree line and make 100% of the background out of focus wildflowers? Perhaps you already have some like that from this shoot.
@Squamishphoto - beautiful portrait! @Msmoto - I like the lights framing the C-130. @PitchBlack - the Polo photo is FANTASTIC!!!! But then again, everything I see here is great. You guys and gals keep me inspired. Thanks!
I shot around 500 frames with this model at that location and believe me, I varied the shooting height substantially. With a background full of lupins its hard to decide which angle works best, which is a blessing and a burden because its a big distraction from model direction and focussing. Ill post some eventually that fit your description. I know I have a bunch of keepers with her kneeling down in the grass and most of those are strictly flowers for the background.
I have missed a few days. There are some great images I have missed. Great job on all the birds! Random Dog while I was out shooting birds the other day... I was set on manual for flying birds, but turned and fired off this one..
I wasn't able to get the name of this young artist as he sketched the ocean waves crashing onto the beach but he agreed to allow me to capture a few shots as he worked.

Nice one Rx4. Shooting at the beach always "exposes" my inability to get the horizon perfectly straight. You seem to have overcome that. Love his focus. This is an older one. I've posted from this day before, but this is just a slightly tighter crop. D90 | 70-200 | 200mm | f/5.6 | 1/2500s | ISO 400
