A shot from 1st morning out with the 300 f/4D + 1.4 TC combo. Still need to work on technique, but this didn't turn out too bad considering my skill level. I think I like this lens combo. I might be able to do some damage with it.

Too much work, not enough time to shoot. Predictably, weather this time of year in the Northeast is tough. Grabbed one from the archives earlier this summer. D800 | 300mm | f/5 | 1/1600s | ISO 1000
My 12th shot on the D7100.. Picked up a refurb from cameta 104 on the shutter.. Sweet deal D7100* Sigma 120-300 EX OS with 1.4x TC at 420mm, ISO 400, F5, 1/4000th
Wonderful photos everyone! Mine for today is just for fun. I'm working on some product photography and really liked the light in the last set up so I decided to throw my old boots up on the table and take a shot. D800, Profoto D1 500s with strip bank, Zeiss ZF T2.100.
Had the pleasure of photographing a local promising high school football player. A big Left Tackle. Statistically, "tackles" tend to have higher IQ's than the average football player and he's maintaining that stat as well. Being watched by a few colleges around the state.
D800 ; Nikon 70-200mm VR2 @ 122mm ; 1/250 ; f/13 ; ISO 800 EV-2/3 Strobist: SB-910 from about 12 o'clock high above me, I'm on by belly, SB-900 low and in front of him behind a diffusion panel, both triggered by Phottix Odins.
Great photos, everyone! Coronado, California from Thursday evening. Being a stay at home Dad has made photography of land and seascapes more difficult, but now that my boy is approaching four, I'm looking forward to this winter. The best skies of the year here in SD.
Back in the U.S now, had a great trip in Europe! Still have a few photos to edit, but nothing new to post to Flickr right now. This is from Annecy, France. Also known as "Little Venice" because it used to be part of Italy.

first shots with D7100 using the supplied kit 18-140 lens. LOVE the detail in the eyes. Hard to get from this size though.
