Thank guys for your comments on the previous photo. If I had a do-over for this one I'd have him adjust his head a little downward and use a flag on the right flash to prevent lens flair - or better yet, gridded vertical soft boxes. Otherwise, this is pretty much the look I was going for here.

All of recent waterfall photo's inspired me to go back and look at mine from Colorado earlier this summer.
Here is a picture of Calypso Cascades in Rocky Mountain National Park (just outside Boulder, CO). It was my first attempt to use a ND filter with my Nikon D800..
Great shot Scuderia. Shot this one the other day while I was waiting for my friend to rig up his Hobie so I could shoot him. Really just playing around to get a sense of the light. Cheated just a little by adding an ND grad filter to bring out the clouds, then going into Viveza to make the sailboat pop just a little to give the sense the the light was on it as well as the opposite shoreline.
