    March 8th - Beginning a week's hike through northern Virginia, beginning at the US Route 33 trailhead in Shenandoah National Park. The first day out ended with some night hiking before I pitched my camp, sleeping on a picnic table behind Big Meadows Wayside because I didn't feel like pitching my hammock. Here is where the Appalachian Trail crosses Skyline Drive at Milam Gap.

    Got myself a Wacom Intuos Pro pen tablet, and apart from the fact that I probably bought one that was a bit too big (got the medium) and that I haven't got it set up quite as I'd like it to work yet, I can see it was a good idea. Will take some time to get used to though.

    @SquamishPhoto Very nice portrait. I really like the framing and the space around the women. That bright spot in the background on the far left is kind of distracting though.
