I still find it amazing that I can ask my friends or models to do stuff like "why don't you get into this cold river so we can a picture of you in the water" and they reply "oh, that will look good"
Here is a good friend of mine, Vibeke, just prior to getting into the water. It wasn't ice cold, but it was in the evening and it had just recently rained quite a bit and temperature had dropped. I was pretty cold from the trip myself, but I had only been up to my leg in water....
The battery back for my studio flashes didn't arrive in time for this shoot (was delivered the day after... grr) so I used a softbox with my speedlight (SB910)
