Please do not offer criticism of other's images unless specifically requested by the individual posting the photo. This may be best accomplished by posting comments on Flickr.
Been quite busy the past couple weeks with the wife starting her new career, weddings and editing these shots. Looking forward to getting out hopefully soon with another model.
I've definitely missed the forum, but have been checking in periodically. Long story short: I moved from Pennsylvania to Denver, CO and my computer was stolen in the move. I finally purchased a new one today and am able to upload photos. I haven't purchased editing software yet.. So this is a D800/300mm F/4 combination without any processing. The views and wildlife are incredible out here..
There is a party going on in the lift - only some prefer to be online :-) Edit to add: Its my two daughters and my GF on the picture - so no spying involved.
Well I haven't done much editing so I am behind but LR didn't work because I haven't updated for the D7100 files, Capture NX2 did a crappy job on the conversion, have no idea why. This was done in View NX2, better than the Capture version but not by much. I can view the original file at 200% and its still decently sharp, I view the jpg output even more than 50% and it seems smudged. Usually photobucket makes everything even worse than my JPG output so we will see what I get here. This is one of those times I wish I had a tilt shift lens at my disposal.
I was back in Maine last weekend, retracing many of our steps from this past spring (although not the early morning wake ups calls). Here's one from my cousin's back yard. D800 | 70-200 | 70mm | f/5.6 | 1/160s | ISO 500 | -1 EV
