Awesome pic wmscyclone. I love the wild flowers and incorporating the mountains in the background! It's not easy to get above 14,000 ft.. Can't imagine lugging my camera gear up as well. Awesome work
Thanks, Scuderia1. Keep on walking, 14er's aren't too hard (except for the 6 or so technical ones). Lots of good info at 14ers.com. I've rigged up a harness for my D600 that puts the weight on my backpack's shoulder straps, it makes life easier.
Nice picture of a moose, we saw some in Rocky Mountain National Park a few years ago. Big, big creatures.
Here's some Colorado columbine flowers from the Grays and Torreys hike:
Was looking out the window late in the afternoon and I liked what I saw. So without any hesitation I grab a few goodies and off I went to shoot the sunset. Hope you find some of them pleasing to your eyes.
My sister in the forest. I got bitten by ants a couple of times while taking this. Had to jump around like crazy since they started climbing on me as soon as I stood still.
Back from family trip to London, didn't take as many pictures as I'd like, but apart from the studio shoot I was suppose to have with a local model, who canceled just a few days before we headed over there, I didn't shoot that much. Sometimes it is just nice to look :-) The annoying part of the shoot that didn't happen was that I had got a "yes, I can shoot both those days" reply from her and then booked and paid studio rent... Next time I'll try to follow it up more in advance.
Wife called me and asked if I was ready to leave London Zoo and that they were waiting for me at the exit, just as I headed that way this fellow really caught my eyes. What colours on that bird.
