Don't know how you did that to the water but great work..
Thanks. I'm not sure what you're asking about with the water. The photo was shot in color and the water was changed to a bluish/green with bathwater colorant. Having the water be a different color than anything else in the scene makes it super busy to control the look. i also had the makeup artist making the waves in the water. Do you mean anything more specific?
The waves I figured out but the colorant made the difference when flipped to B&W. Its such a great look.

Nice image Golf! Very strong blue tones in this one, which is different from the typical sunset, sunrise shot. It seems like there is some strange banding going on in the sky there. Is that clouds? Is that in the original, or the results of editing?

If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.

Heather is an amazingly talented dancer/choreographer who currently lives here in South Florida. Next month she'll relocate to Los Angeles, California to push her career to the next level. I was beyond fortunate enough to meet her and be granted an opportunity to photograph her as she is a very busy girl. She might even compete next year for the Fox TV show "So You Think You Can Dance" so keep an eye out.

@PB__PM. Very odd that those band showed in the upload process. Hence, they are not part of the image but somehow it was produced during the LR Flickr upload procedure. My fix was to export it via LR and then upload them manually. The "bands" are not as vivid as they were on the first attempt.

As for the color...that is all done in post...love playing with the WB.

Thanks! When I go to the mountains to take pictures I always end up taking pictures of the clouds as much as the mountains. I love the feeling and perspective they give together when you are that high up (14,060 feet) with an endless view on a good day.

Less than 30' behind this bird...where it landed on the beach in front of me, is the Pacific Ocean....but with the power of the 300 2.8.....the ocean just melts away.

Here's something different. I recently got an old Mamiya C330 and this is one of the first frames I shot with it. The main reason I got it was that I've always wanted to shoot medium format and there's no way I'll ever afford to do it digitally. There's also no denying that there's something a bit magical about film.
