A bit of a different direction today. I was playing around with image stacking software using images I took on my lab's Nikon Eclipse E800 microscope. The stack is approximately 10 pictures in 2 micron increments (at 100x magnification). The black cells and their processes are newly generated cells in the adult brain.
I got a comment when I posted this picture: "Straighten the verticals". I should have done that before posting. Thing is the picture was a snapshot. I have been playing with colors and forgot about everything else. But here is a straight version :-) Thank you for the comment. The picture looks better straight :-)
Have you ever seen the Bat Signal in daylight? Im not much of a Batman fan but I think he only gets called out at night. I discovered that negative space by accident. I have yet to go again and try to capture a different vision that I have.
