I picked up my copy of the Tamron 150-600mm I am very impressed with it. My mono pod is real handy with this lens. D610 @350mm F6 ISO1000 in morning sun.

Here's a properly dark night shot with the D7100 at ISO 12800 (wow!) It was so cold my tripod legs were white with frost and the shingle on the beach was frozen into one solid mass!
