Portfolio work for Ashley. I first shot with Ashley before she left for college last Fall. Back in South Florida for Winter break she wanted to add more to her portfolio. We met the day after Christmas and it was not the best day. Misty and rainy we got the shoot done and the Nikon gear stood up to the worse situations that I've ever put it thru. This wet look was not intentional, it's the result of the rain that we were subjected to.

Something I posted on Flickr earlier this week but not here. Great views of the north coast of the Dominican. D800 | 70-200 | 200mm | f/6.3 | 1/1250s | ISO 200 Processed using both Viveza (to add structure to the clouds and give a little extra pop to the crashing wave) and Color Efex (a ND grad filter).
Sharing my first picture on here. I took a quick trip down the Big Sur coast to test out my new camera. Forgot my tripod, but still had a lot of fun! Nikon D5300 18.0-140.0 mm f/3.5-5.6 f/11 30.0 mm 1/500 250
Three years ago this month Fairbanks was having a 'cold snap' - temps were down around -35F - and all the water vapor from combustion sources created our familiar ice fog. This is a photo of an Alaska Airlines 737 about to land in that fog. It was about noon - that's nearly as high above the horizon as the sun gets here in January. This winter has been much warmer so far.
