@Vipmediastar_JZ I'm seeing big improvements in your shots as time goes by, keep it up. Just a small comment about that shot - it may have been better at f4 or a touch more because her ears, earings and hair would look better sharper. The bokeh would still be great as it appears you had the distance behind her.
Mine for today. Another from the series shot at the equestrian center in the DR. I shot this one 2/3 of a stop under, which was a mistake. I was just concerned about the sun. However, I was able to rescue much of the foreground and the area behind the horse in Viveza. To my surprise, even the green of the grass was retained. I guess that's due to the dynamic range capabilities of the D800 D800 | 70-200 | 75mm | f/10 | 1/6400s | ISO 400 | -2/3 EV
Amber lost her father recently. Using the harsh light that I found in her room I really feel like this series depicts that sort of emotion someone deals with when experiencing a great loss.
First light on Mt. McKinley, or Denali as most locals call it. This taken about 80 miles from the peak. Thought I'd throw this up in honor of the just-completed, first-ever, solo January ascent of the peak by Lonnie Dupre.
