I suspect one either likes the high view or one doesn't. On the day I was shooting, everyone else I saw was on the floor, at least down low, so I am either very bad or the others didn't have a monopod....whatever
I love looking at these pics. Hopefully i will have time to go through and post some of my own.
What i would be interested in seeing is the original next to the post of some of these shot. i'm just interested what shots you take REALLY look like and what the role software is playing in making these great images
@ chrisjakes In shooting film originally, I learned how to print photos. The original from the camera is only a partial image. The post processing is what makes the photo.
As a learning tool, your suggestion is good. New thread?

As to the bollard - isn't that why they invented Photoshop?
Photoshop CS6 content aware couldn't cope with the curved steps in my shot.
