@juergen- This is the shot I could not get when I was in Africa. The peacoak was just out of reach with my lens and it was in the shade. It was killing me! Anyway, great shot and color!
@mikep-The London Eye looks like a flying jet engine! Looks really cool!
@Benji- That beach shot should cure any of [NR] friends of their winter blues. Looks very inviting! I am looking to see if that pot of gold washed up on shore from your rainbow shot.
@ Dredden85 A question; How high of a fence is needed to keep cheetahs "in".......( or lions "out" ? )
@ Msmoto That snow plow couldn't be any straighter if you had put a level on it, Tommie; BTW........I see one that's very similar parked on a siding in Terre Haute every time I go down Maple Ave. ( it's not painted up nearly as nice as your is though ! ) I had some great railroad pictures in an email a while back that showed one of those thing going through about 6 feet of snow "out west" some place.
@Gitzo- The cheetah's fence was about seven feet high. They did have lions there too but the cage had 12ft tall fence w/ vertical wire about an inch a part. My photos them were okay but not great due to the gauge of wire and the three foot stand off we had to maintain from the pen.
@Gitzo- I was going to PM you one of the lion shots but my drive some how corrupted this evening. ( Now I have to try to recover it. My entire Africa trip was on there. It might be all gone, about 3,600 shots. I will now warn the forum that please beware uploading to Nikon Image Space directly from your external drive. It was fine yesterday. Today not so good. (
