Before Kris wonders why he didn't see me lurking over his shoulder in the jungles of Connecticut, this was at the "Center for Birds of Prey" in Awendaw, SC, where the birds are a little easier to shoot (with my camera)
@Yettibuddah.......Lovely pano of one of my all-time favorite places ! Let me guess...about 5 PM ?
pippigurl.......absolutely stunning shot ! (love that the little "dribble" on his / her bill ) ( and the composition is perfect !)
@Dredden........VERY good news! I can well imagine your relief;
@Juergen.........A beautiful shot of a beautify animal, Juergen!
@Msmoto.........Tommie....That's a marvelous shot; everything about it is superb; one thing though; you picked the great grand father cardinal to shoot ! ( My cardinals are all sitting in the trees because the red-headed wood peckers are so feisty. ) And may I suggest you submit it to "Birds&Blooms" Magazine? They will love it!
@kanuck........that deserves to be a 24" X 36" print on a wall in a fine restaurant......
Haven't posted anything in a long while now. Everyone has been sick a lot (including myself) so there hasn't been much enery for shooting. Managed to get a few decent ones last weekend though. Editing could have been handled better so I might try to redo them at some point.
Juergen, IRO and Gitzo, and others, thanks for the comments on the pano. Gitzo, you have the sun angle right, just the wrong time of day. Just after sunrise. Continuing with Death Valley:
