@Rx4 Photo.....Very nice.....but I can't figure out where you were standing? (helicopter comes to mind)
A helicopter sounds exciting Gitzo, but I actually shot these from the Royal Caribbean "Oasis of the Seas" while on a little cruise. Will share a few more in the coming days. My D800 is still in the Nikon shop in Melville, New York =(( so now I'm happy I didn't sell the D7000. Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas in the distance.
All photos just amazing. This website is amazing for all photographer and photo lovers. I never seen that type of photos and all user are share very different photos. =D>
@ Dredden.......Your comments on Pippi's anole lizard.......you have to train them! I had one for about 5 years once; got it so tame it lived in the curtain over the sink; thing was so smart, when got the flyswatter and headed for the back door, the lizard would jump a foot from the curtain onto me, then I would go oput on the back porch and swat flies; every one I swatted, the lizard wold quickly eat! after maybe 20 flies, he was ready to go back to his curtain; I kept a small mirror in the window sill, and he'd spend half the day doing what Pippi's is doing. Once you feed them a few times, they get tame very quickly.
@ Coastalconn.......we have a lot of those guys around here, but I've never been able to get that close to one!
@ Mick G......That's the ONE, man! I LIKE that one!
@ Rx4 Photo......Thats beautiful; that place sure draws the cruise ships. Lol....it never occurred to me your shot yesterday was taken from a ship! It looked too close.
@ Dredden; ......Just put them in a smal screen wire cage and keep feeding them flies and small soft bugs; most will get tame pretty quickly. Wow! just as I was clicking this to send, your big yellow flower popped up and shoved this text box down! Super macro, BTW...must be some African exotic......never saw one like it before. What a gorgeous bloom.....
@Gitzo- I am not too sure what kind of flower this is. The airport there is nicely landscaped as you depart your plane. That Tamron had a nice minimal focal distance. I should have had the camera on vibrant. This was standard, no tweeking!
