Something a bit different from me. I've recently moved into a new place and have saved some cash for printing some big canvases for the otherwise bare walls. I'm over the moon with the quality and detail that's come out. I'll be getting them properly mounted once the landlord grants me permission to put holes in his walls
They are really sharp. I got them done online at yourimage2canvas (.co.uk). I got 6 in total - 4 for me and 2 for people from the office, all large and with a 3 for 2 offer I essentially got 2 free and paid for my 4, minus the money I got from the folks at work. They came next working day too which I though was amazing in itself considering the customs sizes I asked for.
@TheGipper page 10, the ruins, very nice, I like these moods. @Ton page 10, nice capture, that wing in the water, lucky... @Rx4Photo, if you were on the 'Oasis of the Seas' 2 weeks ago, you may have seen my friend taking shots with a D7000. @itsnotmeyouknow very nice capture.
@SquamishPhoto - Great use of DOF. @Ton - I really like the water patterns with the bird landing. Great job. @aviachar - Rarely seen... Great shot. I too am enjoying the diversity of the photos... For today a picture of our cat... D7000 ISO 400 240MM, f5.6, 1/2000
Yes...Yes...I know. You're suppose to have a tripod for HDR photos. But sometimes you can't (e.g., traveling light or some churches)...So you brace yourself and hope for the best. This 3-image HDR turned out okay, I think. Candles & window in Notre Dame. (After writing this I then uploaded the single image version...go figure!)
