One of the things I really like about the 105 macro is that it doesn't seem to lose any appreciable sharpness, when stopped down like this.

this was taken with an iphone 3gs, just playing with an app that did double exposures on the train. just took a couple of random shots, and it looked like this, none of it was intentional. ive always found it interesting, but i certainly couldnt tell you why exactly. perhaps its just that it reminds me of the journey ? who knows ...

    on the train 電車に

I'll agree, @ autofocus... incredible and probably very rare capture.

Thanks to all visitors to Flickr.

Well......I just posted comments on about 10 different pictures, plus the above link (aimed at Coastalconn, and when I clicked the "post comment" button........I was seeing the entirety of PAD for the whole month, then everything went away, except the above link ! software......who understands it ? ( not me ! )
Guess I'll just start all over again...............

@ Coastalconn.....great shot of the juvi red wing BB; I've been wondering where all of our red wing black birds had gone to.......( apparently to the East coast !)

@ DrJones....I love your gorgeous flower macro..........but it's driving me crazy..........I know what kind of flower it is, but I can't remember for the life of me !

@ autofocus.......we see red-tails fly over our house frequently, but none have ever dropped in to say hello ! which looks exactly like that one is doing ! Everything about that picture is perfect ! Very well done.......

@ donaldejose.......Beautiful car, beautiful shot, Donald........are they just unloading her, or just loading her up?

@ Rx4Photo........It sure looks a lot different than it did when I was there on my Navy ship in 1953 ! (and did you visit Blue Beard's Castle ? )

@ Benji....Many people have asked me why images are always up-side-down & reversed when they look through an astronomical telescope; all they would need to do is look at your picture........basic laws of optics, as "demonstrated" by water droplets ! ( and without any words ) Great shot !

@ rschnaible......I have always loved arches, corinthian columns, and colored lights; this lovely picture has all of them and more ! Beautiful !

@ aviachar.......I love bridges in general; I love the Golden Gate Bridge in particular; I have seen a thousand pictures of the GGB.........but never one like this ! You have just managed to make the most "original" image of the GGB, in history ! BRAVO, & Congratulations !

    @ Bland......Pretty slick 59 Chevy, I'd say !

Thanks for the feedback Gitzo, Squamish.
The drops are actually karo syrup. This syrup makes much better drops and holds its shape longer.
Many exceptional shots here, I think the forum is developing well.

1937 Supercharged Cord 812. This is the same year as the red Alfa I posted last. Both are two seat convertibles. Compare the Italian vs. American styling. I think the Italian styling is better because it is more fluid and evokes more emotion.

@ Benji2505, I was just planning to ask you what you used... oil or something else. That is truly a neat effect.
@ Gitzo, unfortunately we didn't visit Blue Beard's Castle. Did get to a very high lookout point and had a very tasty but overpriced Banana Daiquiri!!
@ SquamishPhoto, I see your subjects range from attractive girls to complete nut cases. Great shot.
