Spiny Murex shell from Saipan (where I was born). This shell is in exceptional shape, most are missing a lot of the spines toward the "tail". This one is about 6" long and the reflection provided by a piece of glass. D700, 55mm f/2.8 AIS Micro.
This was taken the day before the previous photos. There was no snow and no sun outside but a couple of flashes outside the window made things a bit brighter.
This tree in on our default walking-the-dog-route, lost count the number of times I've taken a picture of it, today was the first time I felt I had something. D810 - Sigma 50 f1,4 Art

Happy Holidays to those who celebrate. Some really amazing images closing out the year.
Incoming series of Shawna. She's actually my co-worker for the wedding world. It was interesting working with a photographer and trying to get her to let me do my thing and trust me. She was quite happy with the images so I was glad.
My uncle's barn this Christmas. We got some beautiful hoarfrost but unfortunately the skies were overcast everyday and I couldn't get a good shot.
I tried my best but it was really hard to get any blue at all in the shot. I ended up doing some post-processing of the sky in lightroom but I don't know how I feel about it. Any advice on how to fix those white skies would be greatly appreciated.
