Been away training for a few days and have so enjoyed seeing everyone's beautiful shots. Nice to just unlax at night and enjoy! But nicer to get home and grab a camera.
@ pippigurl Fun, the bell with an amazed face below it. @ Golf007sd Nice HDR system Can you choose from 1 photo to align? @ NSXTypeR I like the atmosphere in your sunset.
The second photo from the Stern (the Dutch name) in English it is a Tern of course.

Those who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it!
ttsisgood, cool shot. I rarely see two males together like that.
For this one, I had gotten up really early to watch the sunrise, and as I was winding down I noticed these two guys canoe out to a moored boat. They were skiing just as the sun crested the mountains on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, and were kind enough to make a pass close enough to me. I cropped a bit to get rid of the boats in foreground and for composition purposes. D90 | 70-200 | 200mm | f/4.5 | 1/4000s | ISO 400

@PitchBlack : nicely done ! Supershots everyone ! Here is my submission .. "Not your perfect panorama" ... From cameras to cellphones, shooting a panorama is becoming easier by the day .. I remember seeing a collage of photos few years back-- taken on film aligned to make a panorama ... decided to try something like that myself, by not merging the individual layers in Photoshop. A view of the Himalayas from Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, India
I guess the original imaged will have to be seen in full-screen mode to see some details .. Regards AM
Thanks Golf007sd for mentioning the Promote Control System, I went out and got one and I still trying to figure the right time and place to use it. But I really like it makes HDR easy.
Day 5, Wien (i.e. Vienna) Austria. Hard to pick a favorite, every buildings just look like this even in narrow streets where you cannot see too much of the building face, they are fully decorated with stones. 2 days ago, I dropped my Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8 ED on the concrete while using its Nikon pocket as a third hand. After that it was hard to zoom in and only the center of the photo was sharp, the 1/3d of the edges on both sides would be completely blurred. Cannot live without it so today I had to buy a new one in Vienna at $2400, ouch. Lets, hope I am done with the dropping.

Day 4, Deep in Austria territory.
Kind of messy and better looking at full res. A bit over-exposed sky. I was lucky to capture a train.

A headshot option for the comp card model. I need more practice with the high key setup. Also edited a bit more than I usually do.
