This one's a bit of departure for me. Like most of you, I tend to put my best stuff up here. But today I'm posting what I think is a flawed image in the hopes that I can get some advice. I've always been intrigued by astral photography and because I live in a semi-urban area I don't often have the opportunity to try it. But last week in CA I encountered perfect conditions. These are ok, at least they're the best I've ever done, but still nowhere near as good as some I've seen. I did learn that :30 appears to be the magic shutter speed to use before motion blur begins to show, but I can't seem to get that "look." I've posted this image as well as a few others. All criticism and advice are welcome.

The car was awesome looking, but the man's expression made the shot. The question is, how to get his facial features to come out a little more. Too bad you can't hear his voice. In that instant, he must have lost 50 years.
