After a busy week of starting a new job I got a break to bake and take some photos. This is the result of a 5 hour baking process (most of which was down time between rises). Cinnamon swirl bread. Quite possibly the best I've ever tasted (and I'm not just saying that because I baked it!)
Went to the Chinese Lantern Festival last night. Highly recommend it if it comes to your area. Will be posting a series on it or just check out my flickr page for the entire set.
I feel you have not maxed the potential of that shot - the guy laying down does not have the emphasis he deserves. If it were me I would re-saturate him to get him to compete with the clean, sharp buildings. Even with the dark clothes and skin tone it may help. I feel that would elevate it to a higher standard.
Good point, I'll have a play about with it spraynpray.
@msmoto: I wish they would have let me take my gear in those caves, but by the time I made it to Schramsberg Winery, they were closing down.
@Correlli: Nice work...keep them coming. @Rifqi: Fantastic shot....don't you just love the 85 1.8G!!! @JJPhotos: Cats...love them and keep them shot coming..but that one sure go all light up :P @greybagel: Oooh man I want a slice please...that looks so good!!!! =P~ @SquamishPhoto: Great setting and that smile....oh my! :P @Yetibuddha: Very majestic setting.

Hey Kris, your processing of that great shot is soooperb. Looks pretty minimal too - lovey bokeh!
WRT clicking on to Flickr, it does still work if the photos are hosted there, and on some others too but not all images are posted where it is possible to do that.
Been gone a long time. So long that the forum format has changed. Two weeks in the Mid-East and I've got some cool stuff to share. D90 | 17-35 | 17mm | f/7.1 | 1/20s | ISO 400 3 image HDR +/- EV 2.0
OntheRopes, very nice. I wanted to do this as well over the holidays, but the weather was extremely stormy for me, including horizontal rain and very high tides.
Yeti - yeh we had storms and rain rain rain, then grey skies and finally mist. The ferry was delayed a day and the best light of the week was just after arriving when I took this shot
