yeti... you have some of the really nice images here and every time I see one of Lake McDonald I am taken back to 2008 when I rode the Going to the Sun Road on my motorcycle.
Thanks to all for the kind words on the leopard. Here is a shot from last week. Today I was shooting eagles and hope to share a few images in the next couple days. Very nice work in here, keep it coming.
Corelli, I love the look of your last two shots. I've had a 10-stop filter on my wish list for a while and your photos my be the tipping point. Another shot from Jordan. Thanks to Yeti for the inspiration and for sharing technique. D90 | 17-35 | 35mm | f/4.0 | 1/125s | ISO 400 | -1 1/3 EV Applied a reverse S curve in Viveza to bring out the rocks in the foreground and tone down the rocks in the background.
Wow, what a great collection of images here. Proudgeek, this is your own. I think this shot of the "treasury" provides a sense of mystery, intrigue and expectation. You almost expect to see people going in and out as you come out of the siq. Msmoto, thank you. I am pretty lucky, particularly given the weather conditions of the day. I had planned an image of Lake McDonald from this point, but didn't realize the rocks were there until I got there. And snow on them made it I think.
Wow, not a single so-so picture on the whole page. It is unfair to name anyone for fear of putting anyone else down. I'll do it anyway. I struggled to name the "First amongst Equals" by dithering between OntheRopes, Corelli and Yetibuddah. But heck, the birds are superb, too. Anyway. I love this page. ********************* More Toronto:
