Thanks for the recon @Msmoto. And for the helpful prep list @Golf007sd. Looking forward to getting into Freeport in the mid-afternoon and for the adventures to follow! :)

The current hardware that will be put to a test by those in attendance. Moreover, this is what $25,000 worth (at minimum) of gear looks like at a dinner table.

The above image was taken by Me using my iPhone 5 aided by 3 other iPhone's led lights in order to provide sufficient light in taking this image in a very dark setting. Photo was then Air-dopped to Adamz where by he edit it using a app on his iPhone. \:D/

Ok last night after dinner a few of us still hot and heavy after dinner...took off for a little bit for some night time photography. So what better place to go than a local lighthouse at 10:45PM in 30 degree /w wind chill. Bellow is one of the many shots we hope to share with all of you.

I'm surprised you were able to get to the lighthouse that late. They normally close the gates at dark and don't open them again until an hour or so before sunrise.

    Great shot, Golf!

I noticed that the building in the lower left looked like the light from within was shining through the wall. But I suspect that was just the shadow of the fence.

Now all we need is the name of the place you are staying and we can send in some fellows with guns to relieve you all of that lovely gear. :D :P
If I take a good photo it's not my camera's fault.

Beautiful, evocative image with a beautiful softness to the sky that really sets off the lighthouse. Great job Golf!

Good observation. Yes they do close the gates for the "normal" people. For us they could not close the gate. A local police officer showed up at 12:00am as said, "you guys can shoot as long as you like." He then very kindly left.

Henry, being from Canada, is feeling very much at home here; that is to say, the cold wind did not damper his comfort zone. He just kept on clicking......

Great to spend the day with so many of you on Saturday. Instead of "no stone left unturned" it was "no lighthouse left unphotographed." As it turned out, the predictions by many (including myself) of foul weather turned out to be nothing. Saturday was quite possibly the nicest day we've had so far this year. Benji, the other New Englander in our group, and I both remarked that this was the first time we'd felt warm in who knows how long. Thanks to all who went to such effort to organize and scout locations, and to Peter for the cool NR shirt.
